Research Summary: Emilio’s research involves investigating the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of carotenoids, primarily provitamin A. Projects have included the utilization of carotenoid treatment on lung cancer induced oxidative stress and gastrointestinal cancer induced inflammation.
