Gene REG Seminar Series (March 6, 2014)

Created to support ongoing collaborative genomics research in the Greater Charlotte region, the Gene REG Seminar Series has been hosted at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis monthly since October 2013. Presentations take place at the David H. Murdock Research Institute (DHMRI) building, the centerpiece of the life sciences campus, in the events room on Thursdays. The program is funded in part by the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.

On Thursday, March 6, 2014, Dr. Steven Lommel, director of the N.C. Agricultural Research Service and associate dean for research in N.C. State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS), will present, “A Plant Viral Nanoparticle Platform for the Tunable Delivery of Agricultural Compounds.” The event starts at 4 p.m. with refreshments and networking at 3:30 p.m.
